What does the TLS switch do

When TLS is enabled, documents are encrypted before transfer and decrypted only at the destination. This means even if the data is intercepted during transfer, no useful information can be obtained.

When to use TLS

Recommended on shared or public networks:

• Campus networks
• Airport or mall Wi-Fi

When TLS is not needed

• Home Wi-Fi
• Personal hotspot
