Important notes when using Flash Transfer
Important Notes
Network Authorization
New Network Prompt
When connecting to a new Wi-Fi network, authorize it in the Flash Transfer settings:
- Open Flash Transfer settings
- See the "New network request" prompt
- Click "Allow and remember" to authorize
Clear Known Networks
To clear all authorized network records:
- Find "Clear known network records" in Flash Transfer settings
- Click the "Clear" button
- All networks will need re-authorization
When using public networks, make sure to enable self-signed certificate and TLS encryption.
Cloud Sync Has Higher Priority
Important: If cloud sync is enabled and Wi-Fi is connected, large files transferred locally will be uploaded to the cloud first. Opening documents during this time may cause lag.
Solutions
- Wait for cloud sync to complete before opening documents
- Temporarily disable cloud sync before transferring large files
QR Code Management
Reset QR Code
Clicking "Reset QR Code" generates a new pre-authorization token:
- Old QR code is immediately invalidated
- New QR code must be scanned again
- Useful when you need to revoke old QR codes for security
TLS Certificate Notice
After enabling TLS, browsers will show an "insecure" warning — this is normal:
- Self-signed certificates cannot be verified by browsers
- You can compare certificate fingerprints to confirm security
- Continue using as normal — transfers are still encrypted
