Chinese Document Display

Paperweight supports Chinese document display by default, no additional configuration needed.

Supported Formats

• PDF — Chinese PDF documents display normally
• EPUB — Chinese e-books display normally
• Other formats — More formats supported through KOReader

FAQ

EPUB shows garbled text

If your EPUB documents don't display Chinese correctly, they may have been imported before Chinese support was added.

Solution:

1. Delete the original document
2. Re-import the document

PDF Chinese display issues

Some PDFs may use special fonts or encoding. If display is abnormal:

1. Try opening in KOReader
2. Or regenerate the PDF file

Custom Fonts

To use custom Chinese fonts, upload font files through the "Personalization" feature.

Go to Paperweight > Personalization to manage fonts.
