Clear Sync Failure State

When documents show cloud sync failure markers for various reasons, use this feature to clear them.

Steps

1. Go to Paperweight > Sync Management
2. Click "Clear" in the "Clear sync failure state" panel
3. Carefully read the warning message
4. Click "Confirm Clear" to proceed

Risk Warning

Clearing sync failure markers may cause:

• File overwrite — Cloud version may overwrite local version, or vice versa
• Data loss — If local and cloud versions differ, changes may be lost

Safe Alternative

If you're unsure about the impact, use this safer approach:

1. Copy the document — First copy documents with sync failure markers
2. Delete the original — Delete the problematic document
3. Auto-clear — Deletion automatically clears related sync failure markers

This preserves document content while safely clearing failure markers.
